Tuesday Tidbits

  1. I about fell off the treadmill to answer the phone call from the school system that we had an at-home workday.
  2. I lit the candle called "Warm Woolen Mittens" today as the snow fell. Does it get much better?
  3. I love that yesterday was over 60. And, tomorrow could be under 20.  Wouldn't it be fun if the polar vortex visited this summer?
  4. For some reason, this song has been in my head. I saw it on Today. And, it brings back a fond memory of the school body singing it with the high school choir during the winter concert.
  5. I just spilt yummy water on my laptop.
  6. I was able to watch some of Maury today. Please watch 15 minutes and you'll immediately feel better about any situation in your life,
  7. Is an avocado a fruit? It is. It's also called an alligator pear.
  8. I've been loving omelets for dinner lately. Watch out. Anything edible may be thrown into the omelet.
  9. I met a friend at a coffee shop in Cville yesterday. I felt like another human being. It was so calming and pleasant to sit and chat. (I brought yummy water because I don't like tea of coffee.)
The whisper of conversations was heart-warming.
  10. I'm thankful.
Moral of the Story: The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found?~J.B. Priestley
