2011...Nice to Meet You

Ellen, Logan, and I said buh-bye to 2009 and welcomed in 2010 together in DC.

Ellen, Logan, and I said buh-bye to 2010 and welcomed in 2011 together in DC.

Nowadays (aka:post-college), we only get together, all 3 us, once a year. We used to throw in a summer visit to Hilton Head, too.

We have all have a unique friendship in the since that we all live 3 totally different lives, have 3 totally different backgrounds, and have 3 totally different perspectives.

But, we do love each other.

And, did we have a blast. And, did we have fun. And, did we laugh. And, did we have girls' QT...as always.

Here are some snapshots of the trip to DC. Highlights included: shopping in Georgetown, NYE in DC with alcohol included, crashing a private NYE party, watching Love Actually, walking for exercise and ending up at the elephant exhibit zoo, great dinners, Wizards game, church at the National Cathedral, and shopping in Old Town Alexandra.

Moral of the Story: After last year's somewhat catastrophe of NYE, we were determined to do it again. And we knew that all that mattered was that us 3 were together, again. We loved catching up on our years and how much we learned, changed, and grew. NYE weekend did not disappoint this year.
