While my kiddos hooped and hollered as they stared outside for the invisible snowflakes coming down in front of the hospital, I couldn't trip, fall, or fly fast enough to my transportation list.
I really enjoyed my 10 minute conversation in the custodial closet during our lunch as I got high off cleaning supplies (is this a run-on sentence?) with a plant manager as she went through her shift lists to try to find 2 parents that I wasn't even sure if their names were correct. This was not sarcastic. In the midst of a chaotic day, I cherished that someone else, a stranger never-the-less, took interest in a schoolteacher trying to make sure a child got home safely.
You can only imagine that once the bus pulled out, so did Blizzard and I. I had the highest of intentions to be productive with school work at home. As soon as I set my teacher bag down, I declared I wouldn't open that thing again.
Early dismissals are rare. I would savor it.
Comfy clothes. Hot, light apple juice. Oprah. 2 dogs. And, twas' the night before a phantom snow storm.

2011 Word B-R-E-A-T-H-E was in full effect.
See the 5 books to the right of me? Truly they are there...
Moral of the Story: Me- A decision has been made I will relax, read, and breathe.
