Tuesday Tidbits

#1) Dinner with the Coaches...that sounds funny...I'm considered a coach...like people call me 'Coach' or 'Coach R'...and I went to dinner with coaches...that's funny...drank a beer & ate a burger...that makes me laugh...not because I don't heart the other coaches, but because I never really had 'coach' on my vision of life...
#2) Thank goodness it's the 25th day of January and I'm just starting to write '11' for the year at the end of dates...it must have been all those report cards today.
#3) Breaking News: my classroom website is finally up...
#4) Sneezing, coughing, wiping your nose, gross hands, dirty tissues...all daily obstacle course or reaction time tests I face in a classroom...solution=Purrell nostrils, lips, hands...Clearsil face...
#5) I'm pretty sure if you have a solid workout in the AM then it's hard to have a not-great day.
#6) It's never good when a kid enters your classroom and heads straight for the band-aids.
#7) Ancient field hockey stick is still being brought to school every day.
#8) Culpeper has 15 stoplights according to the newspaper...I could have done the research for that article from my sleep.
#9) I got this fbook message from a new friend today...
im so jealous of all the cool stuff uve done, I want to do all that crazy stuff lol. what is relay for life?
really makes you thing about how blessed I am, how grateful I am, and how cool it is that he's asking about relay...we've got one life...got to make it worth it...
#10) "Ms. Richardson, do you have a husband?" Me: "Why do you ask? Do you have someone in mind?"

Moral of the Story: Liz and I were running the miles at the gym.  Liz looked at the weather map and the forecast was rain. Liz and I go to dinner and the forecast is now 5 inches of snow. You never know what  will happen to you. You rarely have control. But, you control how you react.
