Fun Friday

• I made the 5:45 AM Yoga for Athletes, then swam...it's was so relaxing and peaceful. Zen!
• Jean day. $2 for Relay. Yes!
• A student almost passed a benchmark. 'Almost' is huge stride for this child. He/she wrote me after I informed him/her how much I believed in him/her and how smart he/she was but just didn't know it. "wen sume peple say go ting to me me. if draks my Love boune. and I sart to cray."
• A students was just obsessed with the snow at recess. Told him to go get a box and he could let it sit by his desk as long as he told me the 3 states of matter. Of course, I let him take it home. So, I watched snow melt today. Relaxing. I think.
• I was still at school at 5:45. So was 3/4 of my team.
• Pete's for dinner. There's nothing better than a whole-in-the-wall pizza place.
• The Diary of Anne Frank: I went and saw a local performance at EVHS. A few hockey girls and YL girls were performing. Plus, a few teachers went. I'm not that into drama but I was engrossed the entire time (the second row seats probably helped).  It brought shivers to me as I heard Hitler's voice and the harshness of the reality of the Holocaust. 

Moral of the Story: If it ain't fun, then it ain't Friday.
