- I feel... nor could I careless what you think (that's my kind preface)...I feel as though I don't understand how many (so I'm not completely generalizing) conservatives oppose abortion but support the death penalty.
- There is still daylight outside at 6 PM which makes me long for spring, shorts, daffodils, and Easter. Then, there's a late breaking weather forecast of perhaps an inch of snow tomorrow and I practically want to jump up to the sky and rather than make it rain I'd make it snow.
- Literally, I left the house at 5:40 AM and returned after 9:30 on both Monday and Tuesday. I was really looking forward to 2 hours of 'personal' time after school on Wednesday. I get the 2 hours. All I could do was veg and try to think of things to do.
- Haircut. No haircut.
- I want to eat healthy, right? Dad offers to pick up a pizza and salad for a quick dinner. I agree in 0.5 seconds. Of course, I 'saved' the salad for lunch tomorrow.
- Am I busy? I don't feel busy. Yet, I feel like I have barely any free time.
- Aunt Pagie (mostly), Uncle Jimmy, Jetta, Momma, Daddy, & Portis (no Banco) got me an AWESOME Valentine's Day gift. It's sitting on my desk. I want to open it and share it. But, I can't because I feel as though I have to wait until Saturday (I know, random...but it's Valentine's Day Weekend).
- My foot hurts. No it doesn't.
- I get a bookshelf for my classroom. It needs to be assembled (no tools needed). I don't have time to do it. 3 students are bickering. Assignment: assemble the bookcase. Probably one of my top 5 teachable moments I've had. I loved it! Not sure if my principal did. But, it was awesome to watch them turn into a team. I may disassemble it just to watch other kids grow. They thought they were so cool. SOLs: 3-D figures, geometry (faces, vertices, edges), arrays, addition, subtraction, sequencing, steps of a process, oral communication, architecture...who knew?
- Time is flying. No it isn't.
Moral of the Story: This solves one mixed feeling.
