Guest Blogger

Today, we will have a guest blogger. She is a young, vivacious, graceful spitfire who can dance her toes off while lovingly making fun of me. She's smart and she had yet to discover how she'll serve with her genius. Here's to my favorite 9th grader. Who I love to pieces and can only hope that she experiences all the fun I have had in life.  Although, I don't like that she makes me go broke at Panera and Target.

Facebook Status Poem

Dear obsessive facebook statusers,

“There's plenty more fish in the sea”

“My dreams are just what will never be”

“Now, I ain't sayin' she a gold digga”

“You're just mad cause I'm cuter than the girl that's with ya”

Sob stories, song lyrics, pictures, and quotes

Nobody cares if you got some new coats

We don't need to know every thing in your day

Stop posting it all to facebook, okay?!

It's annoying and pointless to put it online

If you're gone from the house, or at dinner till nine

Somebody could go rob your house of your things

All your T.V.'s and movies and bracelets and rings!

If you just broke up with him and are crying

We don't care, unless that someone is dying

Make it important, and worth it to read

Nonsense statuses are things we don't need. 

Grammar is also a good thing to use

Misspellings make me want to blow a fuse

The space bar and shift key are really quite great

So use them.

Now that I'm done with my facebook rant

You know we don't care if you just saw your aunt!

So go read a book or do something useful

Go help your family, or friends, and be fruitful.

Moral of the Story: I think she's pretty cool. She's in the inner circle. And, I like her thoughts. Really, do I want to know that your baby just pooped for the first time? No, thank you!
