Loading and delivering mulch for Young Life was mulch fun (get it?)...

We've been selling mulch as the main fundraiser to send 80+ high schoolers to Lake Champion this summer.

My team: an 8th grader girl on lax, a 9th grader, her dad, and me.

We loaded and delivered the most mulch out of all the teams (which were boys...just saying).

We were a total team.

We delivered over 370 bags of mulch.

20,080 pounds of mulch! (We had plenty of time to figure this out).

We estimated that this is 80,000 apples.

By 2:30, we were tuckered out.

But, man did we have fun!

Moral of the Story: Who knew 8:30 on a rainy, Saturday morning delivering mulch could be so mulch fun. Sharing life is great...
