UVA Reunion

The weekend was the 2nd annual reunion. That's right I'm making it official. It's an annual tradition with destinations for 2012 already being discussed.

Last year, Ellen graciously hosted us in DC. We came, we saw, we conquered.

This year, T & D Bed and Breakfast graciously hosted us. We came, we saw, we conquered.

Things crossed off the Cville/UVA Staples/Must Do List: Hotcakes, vineyards, Bang!, Mellow Mushroom, 10-miler through UVA & Downtown, crepes at the Flat, Christian's Pizza, and martinis.

Things crossed off the 6-Girls-Reunited-List: 5 of us piled up in one bed just chatting, Just Dance marathon til 2 AM, venting, girl talk, doing each other's makeup, offering advice/receiving advice, nostalgia, sarcasm, laughter, love, violated personal space, jokes, encouragement, empathy, glancing to the past, predicting the future, updating our lives.

Basically, it was a wonderful weekend filled with Cville food, wine, friends, family, and some snow!

Moral of the Story:

Yes, I do believe this quote. However, it's also amazing to see friends and be able to physical hug and celebrate each other in person.
