Sounds of summer.
What a glorious morning it was. One of those mornings that stretched. One of those mornings that every moment was savored and enjoyed.
The alarm went off at 5:30.
By 6, I was at the pool for 'adult' swim practice.
It's pretty endearing to be surrounded by 10 different women spanning my decade to probably 5 above me. All of us enjoying an early morning practice. I'm thankful that I was invited and could share the conversations.
As I swam, I got to watch the sun rise over the thick, green trees and neatly manicured golf courses. I got to hear the crisp splash and movement of water all around.
When I got back home, I sat outside to finish up a book on the Kindle. Nature's song played + the neighbor on the farm behind us who uses music as lung therapy.
Moral of the Story: It's mornings like this that punctuate the beauty of a higher being. Worship is a good way to describe this appreciation.
Is that taps playing in the background?!
