And, I'm off...but the blog doesn't stop...

This girl is in my cabin...

I leave early in the AM for Young Life Camp at Lake Champion. Please have encouraging thoughts in your head as we take about 60 high schoolers to camp. I'll be leading the EV girls cabin. Although I coach there, there'll definitely be some getting to know each other going on.

Me being blobbed...can't wait to blob
my campers...
Truth be told, I 100% know that this will probably the hardest week of my life. I think that just hit me when I zipped the final zipper.  I'll need to portray so many characteristics this week to lead these girls through the most inspiring week of their life. Everyone will step outside their comfort zone. Definitely me. I can guarantee that.

I don't want to give away surprising details. But, imagine a camp designed for adventure, relationships, and meaning for high schoolers. So, here we go. Step of faith, here I come.

On another note, there'll be a guest blogger while I'm rummaging through NY.

I've given her free creative license and no restrictions for blogging during the next week. So, golliday, who knows what'll happen.

This is one of the many people I admire in life and hope to be a fighting spirit just like her through my days.

Me and Mandy (in the center) who'll lead the other cabin...
Her name is Linda and I'll let her introduce herself (ha~ she didn't know that). We met a little over 5 years ago through a little thing (kidding) known as Relay For Life. A true friendship has grown. We are really different. We are really similar. So, it works. Thank goodness.

Moral of the Story: I'm off to camp, but the fun won't stop. Here's a big thanks to Linda.  I hope I don't get sick off the Bug Juice.
