Did you know?

Porcupines are my favorite animal.

Nope, this isn't Ripley's believe-it-or not.

It's a fact.

Has been since I was in 4th grade.

I had chosen it for my A.C.E. project.

Created a porcupine out of a styrofoam ball with color-coded quills correlated to facts.

Yup, it was the bomb-diggity.

Totally, trumped the bunny made out of a rag and the clay model of a dinosaur.

Now, the stinky thing about loving these critters is that you never see these critters in VA or even in stores.

And I confess that I'm slightly jealous of my sista Linda for growing up with them.

But, behold. They are my fav.

Moral of the Story: Although something may be prickly, it can also be adorable.
