We're in the Clouds

When the day began, we had know clue the things we would do. To be honest, that  feel like vacation. No timeline. Sign me up!

We drove through Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge which was totally like Myrtle Beach planted in the mountains. And was really intriguing and great for people watching.

We drove to the top of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park...straight into the clouds. Where we enjoyed good mood food Arby's.  We then hiked the Appalachian Trail for an hour  before we realized it really wasn't going anywhere. You're right, we knew we were headed toward Virginia. But, we didn't feel like novices as the 15 other travelers felt the same.

We hit up the mall. And, I'm happy to say I did get some stuff at Ann Taylor that was having a major sale. Stuff for school. I'll be super excited in Sept when I find the surprises in my closet. Love that feeling.

We then ventured to the Knoxville Smokies Bears Baseball game for a hot second. We enjoyed some food, an awesome sourvenir cup, and making sure we weren't seriously injured by flying foul balls for a hot inning before the rains of a tsnuami opened. I did adore pulling out that rain jacket as everyone got soaked. Must be the traveler in me.

Off to see Bad Teacher which I thought was pretty good. Ellen would probably say good. It was def funny.

Then, out to finished the night off Downtown with a drink.

Moral of the Story: While Knoxville is known as the Marble City and has the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame, it has also been known as the Underwear Captial of the World. Who knew? Now we do.
