I am thankful.
Really.
I couldn't help but think as my I coached through puddles that thank you God because I learned so much about life while I played on this exact field during high school.I couldn't help but think thank you God for allowing me to be one to assess these students on 22 wacko computers. You have put me here for a reason. Let's practice patience and set an example for these kiddos.
I couldn't help but think thanks that I get to go to a gym, have a blast there, and warm up my soul for the day well dripping in sweat. And, love the people I do it with!
I couldn't help but think here's to a family that meets me at 7:15 just to check something out.
I couldn't help but think darn I'm thankful for hands and breaking my ankle so that I had to stay in typing for an extra nine weeks.
I couldn't help but think I am thankful that I have the best aunt who shows up on a Monday morning with a all-around lunch and a diet coke or a mom who can whip up a grilled cheese in a hot second.
I couldn't help but think I am thankful that my parents come to watch me coach. How cool is that?
I am thankful for electricity and music.
I am thankful for the child who just stepped on my foot for the 100th time, but finally has learned to apologize.
Moral of the Story: We live the life...really we do. I lift it up.
