There...lying on her bed...glowing...was a package.
A package from her good friend E.
It looked soft and lumpy.
The tired Anni did not lose a beat and thought 'what a great surprise! man, I have the best friends.'
The fashionless Anni knew it was a piece of clothing. Innately she knew. This wasn't the first time a soft, lumpy package had been mailed to Anni.
Anni is to Gym Rat as E is to Tim Gunn.
Throughout their college years of bonding, Tim Gunn and Gym Rat pushed each other in life and to try one another's clothes. They were the same size.
It worked great for Gym Rat who needed clothes for frat parties.
It worked great for Tim Gunn who needed clothes for hiking.
Then one day, Tim Gunn wrote out on a post-it the needed staples for any professional.
Gym Rat committed to slowly getting these staples of her own while Tim Gunn walked blissfully through life in hers.
Then one fateful day, Gym Rat moved onto the Real World and began a search for the perfect khaki skirt.
Well, three years of life elapsed and Gym Rat still had not been successful in the pursuit of a khaki skirt.

Now to the present, Gym Rat suspensefully ripped open the package to find the golden nugget...a khaki skirt! With a note...
Today, Gym Rat put on the glorious khaki skirt at the gym. It fit like a glove. 'Sheesh' she thought. Good, because she didn't pack any other clothes.
Gym Rat was plundering happily through another day with third graders. Looking forward to a quick chat with Miss Linda at 10:50.
While meandering in her beautiful skirt by the office, Gym Rat heard 'Anni, Anni, Anni...sprint make sure everyone is cleared off the playground!' It was somewhat of a lockdown situation for the castle.
As Anni sprinted, all she could think was 'man this skirt DOES stretch! it IS perfect!'
Moral of the Story: There are staples you need in life. I began to think of mine.
