Simple Saturday: Run, Clean, UVA Football

I was so excited (and that's truly not sarcasm) to attempt a 6 mile run this morning.

This Fall weather has been absolutely a blessing especially during field hockey season.

The 6 miles were run, the breeze was cool, I actually got to listen to music, I could smell Fall, and I was drenched and sweat.    Man, those endorphins feel good.

Next, I tackled a pile of clothes the size of Mt. Everest. Finally. Laundry is definitely my arch nemesis.

Then, it was off to the UVA Football game vs. Southern Miss.

There was a high and a low of this experience.

The high was that we did the game ol' school style. My parents drove me, Mere, and Only Kat to the game. Then, we did Riverside afterward. This is soooo pre-college tradition. So, that was fun. Plus, per tradition, my Momma didn't wear one piece of UVA clothing.

The low was we lost to a school that had a flag with the 'nasty bunch' on it and I can't even name the city that Souther Miss. is located.

But, we certainly did have a blast just hanging out.

Moral of the Story: At the end of the day, I love UVA. I want to name my next dog Jefferson.
