Welp.

Remember playing the game of Life growing up?

Well, I'm always the green car with a pink little centimeter tall unisex plastic piece.

I decided to go to college. Add on a Masters. Get a real world job.

Pull up the big girl panties.

Buy a car.  Get insurance.

Pull up the big girl panties.

And, build/buy a house.

That's right. Today, I fulfilled my Grams' prophecy (is there a Gertrude in the Bible?).

She always said I'd own a house by the age of 25.

Today, I am 24. Today, I closed on my first house.

I signed the contract right around my 24th birthday back in March. I put the 'sold' sign up at my birthday family dinner.

Obviously, this is a momentous life occasion. That I do not comprehend.


But, I do know one thing. I can't thank my family and friends enough for their realness and supportive environment they gloved me with the past few months.



Moral of the Story: Just like in the game of Life, you spin and go whether it's backward or forward...you go. Homeownership where we go!
