Tuesday Tidbits

  • Did you feel an  after shock around 8:15 this morning? If so, that was me...I missed a chair and hit the ground...knees above my head. All Smart Cookies were present.
  • A student wrote today:"I just hope that Queen R (the TA) and Ms. R. have a good Christmas because they are wonderful teachers. And I hope that God well bless them because they deserve it to. They are good teachers because we can be out of hand sometimes. And they are beautiful teachers. And a good person. And I really hope they get blessed with something."
  • The furniture came! This is better than Paul Revere coming!  I patiently waited. Knew there was nothing I could do about it. But, it sure is nice to lounge and write this post. I definitely will always be grateful for sofas and armchairs after the 7 week wait.
  • I had fried pickles at dinner.
  • Christmas cards are ready to be mailed.
  • I have Katie Couric's new book downloaded to my Kindle from the Cpep library. Isn't that cool?
  • All I do all day long is listen to holiday music. It's beautiful.
  • Check out the coffee table. My uncle gave it to me. It used to be a dining room table for my Grams but he cut the legs off. We think it makes the Great Room.

Moral of the Story: This line struck me in a ebook I'm reading...Daily discipline is the door to full freedom.

  1. I really hope you get blessed with 'something' too. Your Smart Cookies sound amazing.

Also, your new house is really starting to look like a home.
