I gave Liz an 'Art man.' I saw it and ran to it in the store. I just knew she'd fall in love with Bob or act gracious about it. Lol. She's a good friend. |
#2) Vacay. I've never called it that, but my third year of teaching brings that connotation. Finally. Vacay will be spent in yoga pants, in sweatshirts, eating snacks, laughing with family/friends, getting annoyed at family/friends, watering this real Christmas tree, shopping after-Christmas sales,
A student's card... |
#4) I can run again! This is very exciting to me. Exactly, one month after the half-marathon I was able to run with out sharp, radiating pain! The sweat felt amazing.
#6) My uncle and cousins hosted a party for a friend on Sunday. Well, I was the recipient of some of the leftover cookies. I took them to school. Well, by golliday, they've been a hit! People, I rarely talk to because we're so busy, are stopping by asking for the recipe or what's in them. Trust me, I totally give the credit back to where they came from. In no way, do I have that baking ability...yet.
#7) College nostalgia-Liz is on her way over. Bringing with her food that needs to be eaten before she hids home for the holidays.
Liz gave me a bracelet with one of my favorite quotes..."Life is not a guided tour but a journey." |
#9) My mom is the best. Who do you call when you need more goods for great people? Your mom. My friend, Dan, at work is jealous. I saw it on his face.
#10) Last week, at the concert by EVHS, I got to laughing so hard. That I snorted. That's typical. But, then a 4th grader looked up at me with seriousness. "Don't worry Ms. R when you snort it means your normal."
Moral of the Story: Do you feel it? Christmas magic is coming. I can feel it in my toes.
