- I finally talked to that neighbor for more than 1 minute today. They'll make my summer goals list. Banco was the topic of conversation. Not surprised.
- I hopped around my yard for 45 minutes this AM. Set up the sprinkler. Ran into shower. Went and moved it. Then, got dressed. Then, back out to move it. Back into paint my toes. Had someone been watching it was quite amusing. But, big girl panties up. I'm determined to not kill my plants and have green grass.
- It's pouring outside now. Laugh.
- I burnt cookies tonight.
- Finished with 2 more sheets. Set the timer for them. Not burnt. And, that's why oven's come with timers.
- I'm going to higher my brother to be my agent. Looks like he's selling me a swim lesson instructor. Back to pulling that experience back out of the hat.
- Hockey practice was hot. The poor kiddos were like melting.
- I had a popsicle for breakfast.
- Kat brought us lunch. Delish, fresh salad. There we sat. In small chairs at a 2 foot tall desk. Cramming food in in 10 minutes. And to think, almost 20 years ago we met at this school.
- My uncle has been cracking me up. Now, I have new hoses to increase my new found love of watering. Or, perhaps the hoses will aid in the development of my love of watering.
- 4 days of school left. T in Cville thought I was lying. Sorry, my friend the room has been stripped or 'naked' as some of my students call it.
- I abhor this word. f-*-r-t. More than cuss words.
- Kharma. I think it's true.
- My parents ingrained this in me. I gave it a part of my senior speech. " You can't control what happens to you, but you can control how you react."
- Today was Market Day at school. One of my groups sold bookmarks. $20 for a bookmark with a string. $15 for a bookmark without a string. I found this hilarious. They raised the price to $40 and sold out. I found this hilarious. All my purchases already have found the trash.
- A player asked if I'd practice with her after church on Sunday. Granted, I can't be guidelines, but it made my heart smile because #1) that she had the gumption to ask that while many are still trying to remember my name, #2) she wants to practice, & #3) after church.
- I've been studying...I can't believe the dangers of smoking. I'll be blunt. Holy moly the health risks related to cancer are almost (slight hyperbole coming) astronomical.
- I washed Brown Bear, Brown Bear and the Cat in the Hat tonight.
- My friend has glow in the dark toes. How cool is that?
Moral of the Story: My verse this AM: "Have faith in God." How simple, yet true.
