New Today Show Host

For years, since I was 5, I have been a huge fan of the Today show.

It's one of the few things I've continually liked since that age. The Today Show is in company with Days of Our Lives (some would argue I turned out all right), my church, and stuffing my Momma's Christmas fudge in my mouth.

Katie was is will always be my favorite host. It could be the Wahoo-connection. But, she was the original for me. Her quit wit, stepping outside of boundaries, advocacy, determination, and Olympic coverage enthralled me.

Meredith left me indifferent. She had grace, but she left me wanting more.

Ann was and is the glue through Katie and Meredith's stints as co-host. She's the subtle player on a team who makes huge dividends behinds the scenes that fans in the stands don't intentionally notice. Hosting was just not her thing. It's like moving a goalkeeper to striker. Sometimes, it's works. Most times, it doesn't.

Today, we welcomed Savannah. She's younger, smart, spunky, and spontaneous.

All, I know, is the Olympics are coming and I heart Today's coverage of them.

Moral of the Story: I will remain a Today fan, just as I look forward to Momma's fudge.
