Tuesday Tidbits

Sing in your head...reunited, and it feels so good...let
the field hockey fun begin

  • I caved today. I cheated. I just haven't been able to follow the London Olympics like I did the Beijing ones. I had to look. Plus, people on Facebook are spoiling it for me. I looked up the results before 8 PM.
  • My dog has become fickle. As he approaches 11, he throws a fit at his 'bed time' and I have to go put him on my bed...like an old man.
  • I'm progressing in my summer goal of talking to my neighbors. We have exchanged words. Woowee, finally we've moved past the quick hand wave.
  • Straight up. I have a blessed life. I want to own that I think my family is beyond supportive, encouraging, and understanding of my brother and I. Thank you, Jesus.
  • I'm on the hunt...for some bulletin board with a shades of green.
  • Girls' gymnastics wins gold. I cannot do a cartwheel.
  • My front porch bench...is becoming home to a 'drop-off or pick-up site.' And, I like it. Today, I came home with tomatoes from another neighbor, one who'll walk with me, and a new 31 lunch bag for the new year. Yesterday, some goods got picked up.
  • Don't you hate love that feeling when you go to the bathroom in a public place and then you reach and don't feel toilet paper?
  • How'd it work out that both July and August have 31 days?
  • It was pay day, so I'm not complaining.
  • One place that a 'scrunchie' will live on infamy...women's gymnastics.
  • A Wahoo won gold today! A swimmer who actually hung in our circle at school. Good guy.
  • That feeling of sampling something, but not buying.
  • Chik-Fil-A 'hoo-ra-ra'...Let's ask the president of a Christian based company which is closed on Sundays and plays inspirational mustic what their thoughts on gay marriage are...and, then act surprised?
  • The girl who scored the game winner for Team USA against Argentina in field hockey today...also, scored on me in high school.
Moral of the Story: Imagine winning a gold medal. And, then having your anthem played.
