Tuesday Tidbits

After my morning run, this view always makes me think
I live in Colorado...for about 3 seconds.

  • This weather has been heavenly. Tad bit crisp. Practice has warmed the skinned.
  • Our hockey team beat a team for the first time in our school's JV history. They slaughtered us last year.
  • Now, every time I say or think the word 'heavenly' I think of my Grams.
  • I ran outside this AM. Watching the world awaken does something peaceful to the soul.
  • Here's to my Momma who DVR'd Katie Couric's new talk show on my TV. I loved watching listening while I got some work done tonight. I love that she uses big words. Thank you, Katie.
  • Here's to having leftovers for dinner. They sure do make life easier sometimes.
  • Golliday. I have sooo many friends doing a version on online dating. Just saw a commercial for 'Our Time.com.' It's everywhere.
  • I trust in God's timing.
  • Does anyone feel like pencil tips break 24/7?
  • My dad brought donuts to school. I love taking a chocolate covered one. Eating the chocolate. Throwing the donut part away. I think I haven't eaten any calories.
  • I'm looking forward to wearing stockings/panty hose/leggings/whatever-you-call-them.
  • I would be happy if a pizza or philly cheesesteak dropped out of the sky. My own version of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
  • Today is my cousin's birthday.
  • I'd be remiss not to mention the anniversary of September 11th. The weather mirrored today's. While we all remember our stories and life changed as we know it, hopefully healing has occurred while remembering has continued. Just thinking about that day, bring a conglomeration of feelings in me. I can't even imagine feelings of those more closely connected to the day.
Moral of the Story: Go for a walk. Savor this weather and nature.
