| #1) Reason not to smoke (other than it's directly linked to causing cancer)...you must leave your child lonely watching your baggage outside of the designated 'smoking room' at the airport. |
- Today is a day. That my head spun. I felt like I kept going in circles. I was racing a clock to get ready for a fast, paced afternoon. Team meeting. Practice. Back to School Night. With no time in between. And, then it stormed bad. And, everything was cancelled. How have I grown in 4 years, I totally embraced it. Good night to go to Country Cookin' with my parents.
- I've also learned and am still learning with other's forgiveness that we're all fighting our own battles. Rebecca, in Charlotte, returned to a classroom where her AC unit had caught on fire today. Puts it into perspective. That was a fun voicemail to listen to. Golliday.
- Can y'all believe it's Sept. 18th?
- I must share that a huge moment happened in Schu's and my coaching careers yesterday. We played a team that always 'slaughter-rules' our team. So, we set a goal to not get slaughtered this year. Well, we didn't get slaughtered, but we actually won. High school athletics should never be cut. That memory of taking down Goliath would be robbed from these ladies. This lesson is applicable to life.
- I am grateful for my life.
- Speaking of Goliath, I feel like I've been Cyclops lately. One of my contacts has been so funky. Glasses are on for the night.
- I thought I'd be really smart and make 3 batches of cookies (freezing 2) to get ahead for my Smart Cookies. Needless-to-say, 2 batches was all this baker was willing to do tonight.
- Hi, I'm a homeowner. Spotted in my home today...the GE man fixing my fridge and me submitting my subscription to Good Housekeeping.
- Ever get this...? Christina gets the credit for pinning this.
- Get in the zone.
- Things I adore: freshly vacuumed carpet, mail, surprises, a rainy day, the dishwasher, country music, quotes.
Moral of the Story: Real Simple's Thought of the Day yesterday...
