Christmas Feelings

Here are some feelings that I love about Christmas. Feelings that all is right in the world. Feelings that Christ is present.

• Howling laughter as family gathers.
• The Christmas lights seem brighter.
• Staying up later with family and friends because you don't have to go to work the next day.
• The smile on people's faces as they receive gifts.
• The joy inside people as they give gifts.
• Candlelight.
• Helping each other.
• The dim glow of church at night.
• Eating shrimp dip at Momma's.
• Hearing doors shut as family arrives.
• Complete silence around 11PM on Christmas Eve.
• Anticipation of Jesus.
• Family.
• Last minute shopping.
• Christmas carols at church.
• Leftovers.
• The smells of Christmas breakfast.
• Reflecting on His gift.
