A Weekend Away

I spent the weekend doing some fun things that I love. And, it was great to get out (though I wasn't really having cabin fever). Although, I always love coming home to those I love.

I'm thankful that my uncle and aunt watch over my house while I'm traveling.

I spent Friday night in Cville at the B & B. It was great to chit chat and see everyone. I would have loved to have stayed longer.
Found in my room. Looks like someone is in 3rd grade now.
 Here's the snapshots from Saturday:
Ready to head to class in Richmond. Yummy water-check. Bodo's-check.

Home sweet home at 22 degrees.

Lunch. Brownie and a Diet Coke. And, it was great.

Off to spend the night with Christina.

Watching the UVA vs. VT basketball game.

Quote her. Miss Betty Crocker herself said my nutella brownies were really good.

Sunset in Richmond before heading shopping and to dinner.

Sunday AM 1.5 hour walk. Only Christina would walk through a construction zone.
I also saw Frozen this weekend which absolutely lived up to all the expectations friends and students have shared with me.

Moral of the Story: It was wonderful to spend time with friends this weekend. It was like a breath of fresh air.
