Homemade Jenga

Two years ago, our family and Uncle Drew's family were enjoying a tailgate at the UVA vs. VT football game.

The tailgaters next to us were playing jumbo-size Jenga. And, we were enamored the whole entire time.  So much so, that we'd inhale, exhale, and yell along with them. My family minus well have done play-by-play for them.

So, The Farmer and I decided to make 3 jumbo-size Jenga sets for our loved ones for their Christmas gifts.

And, the fun in the woodshop began back in November.

We took 2 x 4s and cut them into 10 inch sections. Each set includes 51 blocks (the real Jenga has 54). After we cut them, we sanded them because who wants a splinter?

Moral of the Story:  Here's to a game that requires mental and physical skills. Jenga!
