My brother and his family came to Culpeper and spent the night at Anni's last night. Anni spent the night with us . Love it when Worth and Anni spend the night at home--all is right with the world. Anni has a 2 hour delay and I have off for President's Day. Daddy just went to Chick Filet to get Anni a biscuit and diet coke for breakfast. Your grown children are always your babies.
Last night, we all gathered at Page and Jimmy's for dinner. It was so much fun catching up. I love talking with Drew and Risa's children--Hannah, Trett, and Ben. Drew and Risa's conversation with Anni is interesting and fun--Anni and Worth let Drew ask questions of them that are off limits to Dave and I--I'm all ears.
Kimberly Williams-Paisley was on Good Morning America. She was discussing dealing with her Mom's dementia. She said that she has come to realize that "If I say good-by to that person who doesn't exist any longer (due to dementia) and say hello to this person I still have a bond with it is much easier to love her."
Her advice can apply to the positive, normal evolution in our relationships.
Wishing you health, joy, and purpose!
