Snapshots from 18 inches of Snow

It snowed. It snowed a lot. And, I loved it. The world slowed down. Blankets snuggled up. Olympians competed. Candles were lit. Baking occurred while reading gingerly happened. Facetime connected friends, while neighbors helped each other.

7AM: I opened my garage to a wall. I headed across the street to help my neighbors shovel out.
She had to get to work. The snow was light and fluffy. It was easy to shovel.

7:30 AM

Reading, note-taking, candles, & Today...yeah!

Around noon,  I decided to shovel. The snow was now ice-coated and heavy.

I had to take a break. Under these clothes, is sweat. I've been reading about self-talk. I had to self-talk myself to get up and finish shoveling.

Makings for lunch. I decided to relive college days.

It was a good experiment.

There is always good in the world. Four snow plows came down the road. Yes! They made a 4ft tall barrier
in front of my driveway. I got to shoveling. Then, a dad and son walked down and helped me. Here's to neighbors.

Mini-snowman.
Moral of the Story: Don't you love the feeling of walking on untouched snow?
