The Cycle

There are always cycles in life. It's a true blessing when a cycle comes full circle.

Today, that happened in the classroom.

My third grade teacher came back to the exact classroom that she taught me in to share a Dr. Seuss book with my now third graders.

I immediately was in awe of her. I felt like I was one amongst my students. I was asking questions just like them. I half-way was following her lead. She's a natural and put me at ease. I almost wanted to hop on her lap or sit crossed-leg in front of her.

Moral of the Story: There is absolutely something remarkable to be learned from retired teachers.
