A Summertime Friday

Today was The Farmer's birthday.

He took the day off. And, coincidentally, I didn't have my internship or class.

So, we all hit the lake for some tubing and water skiing.

The water was smooth, while the clouds were few.

It was a gorgeous July Friday.

For the first time ever, I actually got up on the water skis and went about 100 ft on two skis. You should note that all of The Farmer's family members get up and go minutes on one ski.

The evening was spent at a friend's house for a private launching of his new band called The Folktastics. The event included citronella candles, lawn chairs, friends from school and church, wine, BBQ, kids, and a night outside listening to 90s hits infused with blue grass.

Moral of the Story: It was a delightful July Friday.
