Skinny 7-Layer Dip

I made a skinny 7-lay Mexcian dip for the 4th of July weekend.

Welp, there's absolutely none left. So, I think others enjoyed it.

Here's what I did.

  1. Mix a can of refried beans and a packet of taco seasoning. Place bean mixture into a 13 x 9 pan. Spread it for the first layer.
  2. For the second layer, mix a package (8 oz) of room-temperature cream cheese with a container (16 oz) of sour cream. Spread it into the pan.
  3. For the third layer, spread a jar of salsa.
  4. For the fourth layer, spread a chopped tomato.
  5. For the fifth layer, spread chopped iceberg lettuce and green onions.
  6. For the sixth layer, spread 2 cups of cheddar cheese.
  7. For the seventh layer, spread sliced black olives.
Moral of the Story: Step back and let the dip do it's job as communion joins around the dish.
