Happy Birthday to my Father

Today is Daddy's birthday. It's a big birthday too. But, aren't they all?

I'm a huge fan of celebrating birthdays. I don't think we celebrate the essence of the journey of life enough.

Think how many experiences my father has had.

Think how many touches he has felt.

Think how his life has rippled into others.

The fabric of a solid man should be celebrated.

The Bible says women of value are as rare as rubies. But, what about men?

I think my Daddy is as rare as rubies, too.

Here's to you Daddy. A rock.
