Color in a Forest

The Farmer and I have been hiking lately on the farm.

I find myself so attracted to these fuscia/ purple plants.

I walk toward into them, while The Farmer navigates around them.

They are the dash of color in a forest during January.

They are a gorgeous color, but covered in thorns.

Naturally, somehow, this makes me think of the beast in Beauty and The Beast.

How many people do we know that have defenses up, but are absolutely colorful on the inside? Slightly like The Beast.

It just took Belle to help uncover the beauty within.

Moral of the Story: Sometimes, the most beautiful things in a forest are covered with thorns.
