It happened. We had our first snow day today. Ironically, we had a snow day on the first Tuesday after winter break last year.
My running partner and I went running because when we started you could clearly see the roads and there were no school closings. Well, 10 minutes later, I'd received the phone call from the school system and the streets were covered.
We enjoyed our snowy run, but were thankful when we had safely made it home.

Moral of the Story: Unexpected snow days are the best.
