Another Closing

Our beloved downtown Culpeper has had a few closings lately.

Two weeks ago, the hardware store that reminds me of the one on Little House on the Prairie announced its closing,

This past week, a German restaurant announced its closing.

Then, The Farmer and I went to one of our favorite places called The Restaurant. We go there every Sunday after church. The owner told us that tonight was their last night, too.

We loved the quiet, down-home atmosphere. Plus, the menu had the southern goodness of chicken & waffles, steak & eggs, and bologna sandwiches. While our food always took a tad of time, I loved being able to chat with The Farmer and friends.

Moral of the Story: You can't put a price on good food and great fellowship.
