It's tri time. An indoor tri-all-thon. Can't beat that. Or can you?
6:55 we loaded into the pool. My dentist (who my Dad coached and went to UVA) was next to me. In front of me, was one of my students. In front of them was the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce. Then, in front of them was another third grader from school and his father, a banker. On top of that, we were each assigned a counter who were all local fitness people. Can you say community?

On top of that, it was a load of fun, a great fundraiser, and personally felt really good to be dripping in sweat again.
How often can a teacher have 2 lil ones want to do a triathlon with her?
I did slightly enjoy passing them in the swim.
They're uber athletic and uber competitive, so it made for some good laughs and some great fun.
Moral of the Story: I think there's nothing better than the feeling of crossing the finish line knowing you gave it your all.
