TeacherWall.org

Recently, I was selected among 5,500 teachers across the US by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to submit videos for the launching of one of their initiatives called TeacherWall.Org. It launches September 24th.

I thought I should get boogie'n when I got the '3 days left' email.

I was asked to answer 4 questions with a 60-90 second video. Then, I would receive $100 gift certificate through their foundation partnered with DonorsChoose.org for my classroom. Easy peasy, right? Well, thanks to Fuji Braeburn and a later Sunday night deadline, it was. We made it!

I did all of these 'first take' with 'no edits' because let's be real I have a huge laundry basket of clothes to put away, 2 dogs laying outside my door ready for bed, and some school/coaching tidbits to wrap up.

But, I couldn't be more excited about sharing 10 minutes of my time and perspectives for some more cool things for some Smart Cookies.
