Sunday Visit to Grandma R

We hopped into the car to go visit my dad's mom in MD.

Things I love about Grandma R.

• She says it how it is.
• She says it how she wants to say it.
• She went to the minister and asked for the family Nativity Scene back so that I could have it. (It's beautiful).
• Her first name is Annie.
• It was time to go at 1 o'clock because the Skins game was about to start.
• She loves sports. 
• She never asks me about my love life.
• She asks me about my teams or any races I've done lately. 
• She's loyal, faithful, and has always volunteered.
• She's proud of Worth and I no-matter-what.
• She likes to eat.
• She keeps everything. I love seeing pics of me when I was one.
• She never makes me feel guilty for not visiting more often. She's always welcoming and encouraging of me to live my life.

 

Moral of the Story: I never have a dull moment when hanging out with one of my Grandmas. They're always filled with laughter and sharing of their lives when they were young.
