Did that really come out of my mouth?

Yes, it did.

When leaving Pancho's tonight, I found someone I coach and have known for a while on a date with her boyfriend.

They were sitting side-by-side. Aww, isn't that cute?

Well, not only were they sitting side-by-side, but they were both texting and surfing Facebook. Savoring the moment actually.

They saw me as I left.

And, the next thing I know. This came out while I had a smile, smirk on my face...

"See guys, this is the problem with American society, why are y'all spending your time together by texting and not actually talking to each other."

They laughed. And, sheepishly looked at each other.

"No guys, I'm for real. Put those phones down and talk to each other."

They both laughed and put them up.

And, then I heard in an appreciative tone. "Thanks Coach R."
