Lovetown, USA? is Cpep? We'll see...

Cpep may have had an earthquake of a different sort today.

The news crews rolled in along with a producer and camera man for the BBC from LA.

And, guess who else rolled on Downtown?

Me. Thanks to a supportive school, I was don't think it was an option allowed to make my 1:20 casting interview which really turned into a 3:00 interview.

We had so much fun waiting. My new friend, Cathy (who to call if I want a beer), and I had Copper Fish in stitches as I asked all the bartenders, patrons, and whoever I could hunt down (a cook at one point) questions from the 20-page application.

Then, we headed up to the suites (which I would never have seen due to their grandeur).  We laughed the afternoon away as the 5 of us and 2 couples waited for our interview on an outside terrace with a tent. I definitely savored and enjoyed the company.

I popped in for my interview. I was myself. Made a few of my typical facial expressions. They received praised. (Did I just type that?) And then, headed on down to the Courthouse steps for some chants. Not really my thing, but I can yell. Only Kat met me there.

I drank water.
Don't ya'll worry. I surveyed the crowd for some single men.

I walked away happy with myself. And, the person I've become.

I've never would have thought 10 years ago that this would be my life.

Moral of the Story: My friend asked me to describe it in 3 words. Mine were exhilarating, authentic, and liberating.

Question on application: Do you have a crush on anyone in your town? Me: Yes. Anyone who is taller and has teeth.
