We had so much fun waiting. My new friend, Cathy (who to call if I want a beer), and I had Copper Fish in stitches as I asked all the bartenders, patrons, and whoever I could hunt down (a cook at one point) questions from the 20-page application.
Then, we headed up to the suites (which I would never have seen due to their grandeur). We laughed the afternoon away as the 5 of us and 2 couples waited for our interview on an outside terrace with a tent. I definitely savored and enjoyed the company.

I walked away happy with myself. And, the person I've become.
I've never would have thought 10 years ago that this would be my life.
Moral of the Story: My friend asked me to describe it in 3 words. Mine were exhilarating, authentic, and liberating.
Question on application: Do you have a crush on anyone in your town? Me: Yes. Anyone who is taller and has teeth.
