A Saturday to Remember

Today shaped up to be a day that must have been written before I was born. It was that great. Thank you, God.

Annapolis Half Marathon

3 seconds after we finished

Daddy and Siblings

  • Kat and I woke up and headed to the Naval Academy to run the Inaugural Half Marathon. Our time was solid. Our friendship even more solid.
  • I made it back to celebrate Thanksgiving at my house although Momma really hosted since I was caked in dried sweat.
  • I finally showered and then headed to a group date with a blind date. Yeah, I know it's confusing. Anyway, basically, I went out with 3 people who'd I'd never met before and I had a great time.
  • I ended the night visiting my Uncle and Cousins again (the night before was at their place in Annapolis) at their place in Downtown.
  • Made it back home around 11 to find the UVA game with 38 seconds to go. I didn't realize that 38 seconds would last 30 minutes. And, that UVA would pull out a huge upset. 8-3 record. It was the cherry on top of a great day.

Moral of the Story: I give thanks for this life I lead. It's fun.
