She was going to a girls' mixer with the theme 'Falling in Love with Pinterest.'
I invited some friends that I knew and some that I didn't know.
There we had. 7 ladies. + a neighbor.
We all made something new from Pinterest that we'd never made before.
I made crockpot lasagna. It was good.
The wine/fresca/strawberry combination was a fav.
So, was the laughter and just sharing life.
Everyone stayed for about 4 hours.
And, then, the highlight of my night would be.
My neighbor staying until 11. Then, she walked across and we waved goodnight from our doorsteps.
Moral of the Story: Community takes intentional effort.
