We can just go from my house.
Cpep now has sidewalks.
We run by my assistant principal and exchange excited 'good mornings!'
The town is just waking up.
Drivers give the finger-lift waves as they drive by us. We give the right-hand mid-lift salute.
We gauge our time by all the bank marquees.
We run past Culpeper Dinner and catch a whiff of fresh buttermilk pancakes stirred into the scent of coffee.
In front of the movie theater, is smashed bits of candy.
What I love is that I discover something that I've never noticed although having been born here.
Today, I noticed that Cpep has many more hills than I thought. I had become immune to them, until I have run up them.
Moral of the Story: My favorite time has always been when the world awakes.
