The Saturday before Easter

On an early AM run, I asked Kat to clarify my thought process...

"What was going on in the Easter story on Saturday?"

Kat: "Jesus was just chillin' in the tomb."

And, that's what I did today.

Breakfast with the whole fam, little mid-day trip with Momma, visit with Jenna and Fin-man, and hanging with Kat.

Maybe, that's what Jesus wants us to do sometimes. Just chill, be patient, and enjoy each other.

Perhaps, that why God planned the Easter story the way he did.

So, that the community could mourn, feel, and digest the events together.

It was a day filled with bliss and happiness as we digested updates on each other's life.

And, this is why we celebrate Easter...for through it we were given life.

And, to think that these friendships all began in second grade...

Moral of the Story: As the angel spoke, 'don't be afraid!' for it is within Him that we find our hope for today and the future.
