Tuesday Tidbits

Yellow Honeydew

Relay Meeting
Going over Relay Spirit Activities
  • Student: "Ms. R look at your plop. That's the most beautiful one I've seen." Thank you child. It took me 0.37 seconds.
  • It's Relay season (although it's truly year round)! We had an AWESOME Relay meeting tonight with veteran teams. Over $13,000 was turned in!  And, there's another one on Thursday!
  • I got home to a check in the mailbox! I was ecstatic because I typically do all my fundraising online.
  •  $1 could be the $1 that finds a cure.
  • What was the deal with this whole space shuttle piggybacking an airplane? It's all over Fbook from friends who saw it.
  • I was told my outfit looked like a baby nursery theme today. Okay?
  • I've had 4 recent firsts happen in my first year of home ownership--had a spider inside (I got really happy), my ceiling fan has gotten use, I thought there was rodent in my gutter (my aunt and uncle came to the rescue), I cleaned my hair out of the drain.
  • I ran 5 miles this AM.
  • I was the recipient of leftover fresh fruit and have LOVED it.
  • Yellow honeydew. Who knew? I bought one.
  • I dig astronomy right now.
  • I don't dig a sock tan.
  • Use sunscreen. Get new stuff. It expires.
  • I haven't touched the new Kindle Fire.
  • Picture to the right shows Momma's disdain for Mud Warrior races.
  • What if you woke up today with the only things you thanked God for yesterday?
Moral of the Story: Check out the trees.
