Tuesday Tidbits

  • We played the high school I went to last night. I never thought back then that'd I'd coach against my alma mater. I definitely am tense on those days. Yet, as we kept scoring then it was a relief. However, the tension didn't leave until the final whistle blew. We won.
  • I'm into freezing my cup of yogurt and then thinking I'm having ice cream in the morning.
  • It's that time of year when you need ice cream first thing in the  morning.
  • Relay hit 600 registered participants!
  • God is good.
  • Always, a great feeling when you see a missed call from the police department on your phone.
  • My friend from UVA found out she's going to be teaching 3rd in a similar demographic next year. I think I'm more excited than her to share and collaborate with!
  • So many of my colleagues and friends are going through change. Change is good. Embrace it.
  • It rained and was stormy at the game last night. I packed 3 jackets. I wore all 3 at different points.
  • The french fries at EV are to die for or to cut someone in line for.
  • TED talks always leave me on my toes.
  • For all you who have daughters or nieces...the first 5 minutes is a MUST watch!
