- While eating my breakfast yesterday morning, a student informed that she had pus all in her toe.
- We had our Reading SOL test. Between 8:30-1:00, I walked 5 miles in a classroom. I made another wrinkle during this time. I like to think of myself as Tom Cruise in Mission 'Possible as I navigate a spider web of electric cords. This is my brain.
- A random person sent me an email asking about me today. It's was really refreshing.
- And then, a mother of friends from high school called me out of the blue tonight. Totally refreshing to catch up for a solid 45 mins.
- I rushed from practice to get to a softball game of some of my students. It had been cancelled.
- It's Relay season and I LOVE it. Facebook is abuzz. The community is coming together. Different people are using their strengths to help out for a larger cause. It's inspiring.
- I adored waking up during the thunderstorms last night. How ironic that I find it relaxing.
- I flicked a stink bug out my window, it flew back in and hit me.
- Supposedly there's a helium shortage.
- Sharpened pencils are so neat to me.
- Kat started working at my school for the next month! Perfect timing during SOL season. And, she just took a job in the big ATL. Let's lift our cup to that. Going for it.
- I have not eaten a good orange lately.
- I like a clean house. I'm my Momma's child.
- I'm my Daddy's child in the sense that I love to eat.
- Buckle the seatbelt. The rollercoaster has left the dock. Here comes May. Let's do this.
- I've been digging vintage country music lately. So calming and homey.
Moral of the Story: Don't bunt. Aim out of the ballpark.
