Going Home

I never thought going to Cville would be going home.  But, after spending a few great years there. It felt absolutely great to evacuate Cpep for a few days.

It was the first time all school year that I went to Cville for a weekend that would be based all the way on the girls' schedules.

I had no college friends coming in. Just us. And, it was great. True R & R.

The weekend was much needed for us all. All our schedules have come to a halt. This weekend was blocked off 3 months ago.

I slept. Even napped with G. Snuggled with L. And, had the covers stolen by H. All-in-all, we had fun.

Today at church, the sermon was on living your life as a living sacrifice and then the guest pastor, just happened to be the president of Northwestern, shared a scripture from one of the Timothy books about how Paul went home or envoked the visitation of family and friends to rejuvenate.

That's exactly what this weekend was. Focus on the simple things of life.
