Tuesday Tidbits

Found Downtown...

Killing time in Lowe's...

Local lake...

  1. Whoever the person was who was running at 5 PM in the 100-degree heat index...golliday...I wish you the best...I cringe for you.
  2. I've really been focusing on keeping my schedule as open as possible to allow for little, spontaneous moments to be created not predetermined. Text from neighbor for a walk. Sure, let's go.
  3. Green beans are coming in.
  4. My friend leaves tomorrow for Seattle. We hung out tonight. It totally reminded me of when Kat and I went to Seattle. It's such a fun, unique, and educated place. Clean too.
  5. It's always a good day when H texts you a hilarious voice memo.
  6. Kat's Mom, Janet Lynn, came over this afternoon for the some lessons on her iPhone. It was hilarious. I had to keep informing her that you don't have to 'bang' on the screen. She wants to play me in Words With Friends so that she can beat my 'butt.'
  7. I'll say it for every Tuesday there is...I love NBC's Olympic commercials.
  8. I think I may have a 'signature dish.' This is a huge milestone in my life. The Williams B & B has been attempting to domesticate me for years. I even have a nickname about it. Well, I took my Buckeye Brownies up on Monday and they were truly excited to see them. Yes! Finally, after years of slaving in the kitchen (not!). G did inform me that I was becoming domesticated.
  9. Next goal: learn to cook.
  10. Nectarines are tasting really good right now.
Moral of the Story: Today is a new day. Own it.
